On April 27, 2023, Aluar Aluminio Argentino S.A.I.C. (“Aluar”) issued its 0.00% dollar-linked notes due in April 2028, for an aggregate amount of US$100,000,000 (the “2028 Dollar-Linked Notes”).
The 2028 Dollar-Linked Notes are authorized to be listed in Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos S.A. and the Mercado Abierto Electrónico S.A.
SBS Trading S.A. and Banco Santander Argentina S.A. acted as organizers and placement agents, and Macro Securities S.A.U., Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A.U., Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina) S.A.U., Banco de la Provincia de Buenos Aires and Nación Bursátil S.A. acted as placement agents in the issuance of the 2028 Dollar-Linked Notes (jointly, the “Placement Agents”).
Bomchil acted as counsel to Aluar. In turn, Marval O’Farrell Mairal acted as counsel for the Placement Agents.
Aluar is a national capital company managed according to the most demanding international parameters of industry and in constant evolution. Since its beginnings, it tripled its aluminum production capacity of 140,000 tons thanks to a constant investment plan, which allows it to, under normal conditions, fully supply the domestic market with approximately 35% of its produced volume, exporting the remaining 65% to various markets, including NAFTA countries, Latin America, and Asia.
