Arzinger helped one of the largest banks in Ukraine to save UAH 275 million in a dispute with a tax authority.

Arzinger's Dispute Resolution team has successfully defended the interests of one of the largest banks in Ukraine in the Court of Appeal in a dispute with a tax authority.

The Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the court of first instance, thus confirming the effectiveness of the strategy of protecting the client's rights initially chosen by Arzinger's attorneys. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of the Arzinger team, the bank managed to avoid fines and additional tax payments in the amount of over UAH 275 million.

The project was led by Arzinger partners Sergii Shkliar and Iurii Sukhov and included former counsel Ievgen Diadiuk, senior associate Ivan Zalizniak and associate Bogdan Trokhimets.
