Buenos Aires, September 22nd, 2022. On September 12th, Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A.U. (“Banco Galicia”) issued Class XII Notes, payable in Argentine Pesos, for a total nominal amount of AR$5,829,400,000. The issuance was carried out under CNV’s frequent issuer regime, within the frame of the Prospectus for the notes issuance in tranches for a maximum issuance amount of up to US$2,100,000,000 (CNV is the National Securities Commission, the official body responsible for the promotion and control of equity markets in Argentina).
Class XII Notes, maturing on March 12th, 2023, will accrue interest at a floating rate equivalent to Badlar private rate and will amortize its principal in one payment on the maturing date.
On September 5th, FIX SCR S.A. locally rated the Notes “A1+(arg)”; they were authorized for trading at Mercado Abierto Electrónico S.A.
In the issuance of Class XII Notes, Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A.U. acted as issuer and placement agent, while Galicia Securities S.A. and Inviu S.A.U. as placement agents. All parties turned to Beccar Varela’s team, led by Luciana Denegri and also composed of associates Julián Ojeda, Tomás Cappellini, and María Belén Tschudy.
