Binder Grösswang advised the private equity investor Hannover Finanz on an acquisition of shares in PEAK Technology GmbH, based in Holzhausen/Linz, within the framework of a EUR 10 million growth funding transaction. Hannover Finanz thereby acquired a significant minority interest, with PEAK Technology founder and CEO Dieter Grebner retaining the majority of the shares.
PEAK Technology specializes in the development and manufacture of ultra light-weight, high-performance carbon components for the motorsport and aerospace industries. The company’s original field of specialization, highly specialized light-weight components for racing series such as Formel 1, was expanded seven years ago to cover the aerospace industry as well. PEAK Technology’s customers in this business area include international actors of the aerospace sector (e.g. ESA, Airbus Defence & Space, Isar aerospace), for which the company develops customized solutions of high technological quality.

PEAK Technology

In addition, the company produces light-weight components for racing cars used in the Formel 1 and Formel E series and the 24-hour Le Mans race.
