Binder Grösswang advised Semperit Aktiengesellschaft Holding on the acquisition of the Austrian RICO Group GmbH.

Based on the share purchase and transfer agreement signed on 17 April 2023, Semperit will acquire the RICO Group, a leading global supplier of silicone injection moulding tools and producer of liquid silicone components, from its founders.

For Semperit, the acquisition represents an expansion in terms of product portfolio, processing technologies, automation and materials. This acquisition is expected to open up additional markets, especially in North America, and generate additional growth.
