Avance advises Brookfield in the Finnish law aspects of the acquisition of a 49% minority stake in a newly formed SBB subsidiary EduCo AB holding Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB’s (publ) social infrastructure portfolio for public education for SEK 9.2 billion in cash with an additional earn-out of up to SEK 1.2 billion in cash. Brookfield is one of the world’s largest infrastructure investors and will carry out the investment through its open-ended core infrastructure fund (Brookfield Super-Core Infrastructure Partners).
