Bruchou & Funes de Rioja acted as legal advisor in the structuring of Bentia Energy S.A. and its subsequent acquisition of the "Neuquén Norte" Cluster within the competitive process "Project Andes" launched by YPF S.A. for the sale of its mature fields.
Bentia Energy, a company led by Javier Iguacel along with Lucas Logaldo and Lisandro Garmendia of TB Cargo S.A., emerged as the winner among multiple bidders to acquire and jointly operate the "Neuquén Norte" Cluster with Ingeniería SIMA S.A. The acquired Cluster includes the conventional exploitation concessions "Señal Cerro Bayo," "Volcán Auca Mahuida," "Don Ruíz," and "Las Manadas," which are significant oil and gas production areas.
This agreement marks the beginning of a new chapter for Bentia Energy and a milestone in its trajectory. The acquisition of these mature fields reflects the company's ambition to become a key player in Argentina’s energy and mining sector, aiming to contribute to the country's economic growth through the responsible exploitation of natural resources.
