Bruchou & Funes de Rioja acted as legal advisor to the shareholders of TPCG Group Ltd., based in the United Kingdom, owner of TPCG Valores S.A.U. (Argentina) and TPCG Financial Services Agente de Valores S.A. (Uruguay), and to the shareholders of Southern Trust S.G.F.C.I. S.A. (Argentina), in the sale of 100% of the shares of TPCG Group Ltd. and Southern Trust S.G.F.C.I. S.A. to Aniter S.A. and Consultatio Asset Management Gerente de Fondos de Inversión S.A. respectively, both controlled by Mr. Eduardo F. Costantini, who was advised by the law firm Cibils│ Labougle │Ibañez.
The transaction involved the sale of the largest institutional brokerage business in Argentina, forming one of the largest independent non-banking financial services groups in both Argentina and Uruguay with strong regional projection.
TPCG is the main reference in the secondary trading of assets in Argentina and Uruguay for foreign institutional investors. It leads the segment of institutional investors and large local companies. Founded in 2012, Southern Trust specializes in asset management for institutional clients, companies, and high-income individuals.
Consultatio Financial Services is the financial and portfolio management arm of the Consultatio Group, with more than 30 years of experience in local and international markets. That same leadership extends to the Wealth Management division that provides a wide range of advisory and personal portfolio management services.

Estanislao H. Olmos advises the sellers since 2017, and carried out the reorganization of the TPCG business, through the constitution of the holding in the UK, TPCG Group Ltd. that was completed in August 2019.

For his part, the buyer was advised by the firm Mills & Reeve, led by partner Thilo Schneider and associate Liam Closey.
One of the selling shareholders was advised by the law firm Saravia Frías Abogados, a team led by partner Miguel Francisco Bóo.
