The investment of acquiring shares in the Belarusian company DPM Sp. z o.o. provided good prospects until the Belarusian authorities took steps preventing its profitable operation and causing the company to lose any value. Insurance of the investment protected CDRL S.A. from the negative consequences of this event.
DWF lawyers' advice to CDRL S.A. included analysis of the insurance contract in terms of the occurrence of an insurance event and the amount of compensation, preparation of a claim notification and coordination of cooperation with the insurer in the course of claim settlement.
