Chazki Holdings, Inc. TodoVa acquisition
1. Deal Description
Guerrero Olivos represents Chazki Holdings, Inc. in Chile. Chazki is a last mile delivery start-up. It started its operation on 2015 and has been awarded with several recongnitions such as the “Top 50 Latinamerican Startups” by the World Economic Forum and as “Endeavor Company”. In addition, it has received financing from Silicon Valley. Today its most relevant clients include Amazon Mexico, Mercado Libre, Falabella Group and Wallmart.
Our venture capital team represented Chazki in the acquisition of 100% of the shares of TodoVa SpA, a local start-up devoted to last mile delivery services, which allowed Chazki the entrance to the Chilean market.
Complexity to this transaction was the corporate manner in which we structured the operation. Shares were swapped from a Chilean company to a Delaware corporation.
In this context, Chazki, with market presence in Mexico, Argentina and Peru, acquired TodoVa, as part of an aggressive expansion strategy that expects a turnover of more than USD10 million during 2020.
