Prague, September 18, 2024 – Global law firm Dentons has advised Yanmar Group, a Japanese-headquartered global engine and machinery manufacturer, on its acquisition of TEDOM, a Czech-based energy engineering company, from Jet Investment fund. This acquisition is a significant step for Yanmar in enhancing its global footprint in the energy sector, aligning with its commitment to sustainable growth and innovation.
The share purchase agreement was signed on September 4, 2024, and the transaction is currently awaiting approval from the relevant regulatory authorities.
TEDOM Group is a global manufacturer of cogeneration units and a provider of maintenance services for decentralized energy systems. The company also offers a range of energy services including power generation, power balancing, electricity and gas sales, and ESG consulting. With operations in the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Kazakhstan, TEDOM Group is expected to generate approximately €315 million in revenue in 2024.
