Dentons has advised Yevulei Shemesh Renewable Energy Group Ltd as sponsor on the PLN 335 million financing extended by mBank and EBRD for the construction and operation of a 48 MW onshore wind farm in south-eastern Poland. The project consists of 16 wind turbines and is expected to generate 138 GWh of electricity per annum allowing the reduction of up to 100,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually.
The Nozdrzec wind farm is developed by a company ultimately majority owned by Yevulei Shemesh Renewable Energy Group, an Israeli renewable energy group, and managed by YVS Cerac Management CY Ltd, whose founders have been involved in the development, construction and asset ownership of more than 300 MW of wind capacity in Poland.
Dentons advised the sponsors on negotiating and executing the finance documents. Paweł Długoborski (counsel) led the project, with assistance from Kamil Bator (associate), Jakub Olejniczak (associate) and Wojciech Zieliński (senior counsel) from the Banking and Finance team in Warsaw.
