The aim of the conference entitled “Intellectual and Industrial Property: A Practical Approach” was to provide PDI officials with tools to identify counterfeit products from our clients Duracell, Penguin Random House and Goorin Bros.

Lawyers Hernán Torres and Eliseo Albornoz from the Alessandri Enforcement team led an inter-institutional working day in Rancagua, organized by the head of the Libertador General Bernardo O’Higgins Police Region, Prefect Inspector Julio Caro Barrera, together with the Rancagua Regional Criminalistics Laboratory.

During the training, the lawyers gave a theoretical and practical session, distributed authentic and counterfeit products, and explained all the necessary details so that PDI officials could correctly identify the products.

These training sessions reinforce Alessandri’s commitment to the protection of intellectual property and the fight against piracy.
