Brown joins Greenberg Traurig from Inspire Brands, Inc. where she served as senior director of supply chain for the global multibrand restaurant company, which owns several well-known chains including Arby’s, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and SONIC. With her work in the restaurant industry and previous experience for a global investment and asset manager, Brown brings a diverse corporate background in handling complex cross-border transactions including commercial contract negotiation, due diligence, public and private mergers and acquisitions and equity offerings, and private equity fund formation.
“Coming from the corporate world, Toni understands how legal issues affect clients’ operations and can offer a more holistic approach to providing the service and strategies that clients are seeking in today’s rapidly changing business environment,” said Theodore I. Blum, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Atlanta office. “Our corporate capabilities will be enhanced by the legal acumen and experience she brings to our team, particularly in the area of supply chain issues and commercial contracts.”
During her tenure at Inspire Brands, she served as the key legal advisor for the organization’s procurement and distribution teams, responsible for the creation and management of a multibrand set of domestic and international supply chain agreements designed to aggregate spending volume and drive efficiencies across brands. She also led a cross-functional team on the corporate restructuring of Buffalo Wild Wings’ international franchisor entity.
Prior to joining Inspire, Brown worked as vice president and counsel at Hudson Advisors, L.P., a leading global investment and asset manager, focusing on private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, and fund formation.
“My decision to join Greenberg Traurig is specifically rooted in the people and the culture,” Brown said. “Having the opportunity to work as part of the firm’s global network will allow me to broaden my focus into diverse industries and put my ten years of in-house legal experience to work with clients in Georgia and well beyond.”
Brown, who received her J.D. from the University of Texas Law School in Austin and MBA from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, is admitted to the bar in Georgia.
