E+H Eisenberger + Herzog advised the shareholders of curecomp Software Services GmbH, an innovative provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions, on the sale of the company to the proALPHA Group, one of the leading providers of ERP software for small and medium-sized businesses. Signing and closing of the transaction took place at the end of January. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Since 2002, Linz-based curecomp has been developing and operating innovative SaaS solutions for digitizing and automating operational and strategic procurement processes with a focus on the manufacturing industry. Over 5,000 users worldwide are already using the eProcurement and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) solution “clevercure.” The highly innovative software, which supports customers in optimizing strategic and operational procurement processes, is used by companies such as Palfinger, Fronius International, Putzmeister, Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug, Rosenbauer International, Netzsch and Flottweg.
curecomp, which will continue to operate as an independent company and brand, will now work closely with proALPHA and drive the growth of the group through the digitalization and automation of procurement processes. The curecomp management will remain with the company following completion of the transaction.
curecomp’s shareholders were advised by an E+H team led by partners and , both experts in corporate law/M&A and real estate law. “We are currently seeing numerous M&A transactions in the IT sector, fueled by the Corona crisis and the corresponding increase in digitalization,” said Clemens Lanschützer. “We have a wealth of experience in M&A transactions with an IT connection, especially as we at E+H have been working on several of IT related M&A transactions in recent months,” added Alric Ofenheimer.
