In the search to offer more and better services that can satisfy the legal advice needs of its clients, Fontaine & Cía., opens a new area of Insurance legal practice. To do this, he partnered with the prominent lawyer and specialist on the subject, Roberto Ladrón de Guevara, who was a Metlife Chile prosecutor for more than 20 years.

The insurance area of Fontaine & Cía. seeks to provide specialized advice on legal and regulatory matters in the insurance sector. Among the most relevant issues are the development of products, the application of regulations related to distribution channels and the drafting and review of policies.

In addition, his advice includes the determination of coverage and settlement of claims, relations with regulators and the resolution of conflicts related to claims of all kinds.

Roberto is a director of Fontaine & Cía., and responsible for the Firm's Insurance area.

He has vast experience and deep knowledge of the insurance and financial market after having worked for more than 20 years as a Prosecutor and Legal Director of insurance and financial services companies, which allows him to provide specialized advice to the latter on the matters and in the regulations that is key to its good performance.

He is a permanent advisor to insurance companies, insurance brokers, reinsurers and other entities that participate in the insurance market. His professional practice covers both legal advice on matters related to life insurance in its different forms, as well as those related to general and credit insurance.
