Paris, on January 6, 2023 – Jeantet has advised “La Française Real Estate Managers” (REM) in the acquisition, on behalf of an institutional investor, of “The 226”, a VEFA co-living residence in Haningue, a city bordering Basel (Switzerland).
This acquisition was carried out with Constructa Les Editeurs Urbains, specialists in development and promotion, a subsidiary of the Constructa Group, the leading independent real estate services platform in France.
The future residence about 5,000 sqm, located in the future “Les Jetées” district, offers an exceptional location, at the crossroads of three borders (France, Switzerland and Germany), in the heart of one of the most important employment areas of the Grand-Est.
The co-living residence, scheduled for delivery in Q4 2024, offers a new solution for urban housing, particularly in regard to the shortage of supply. “The 226” is being operated by Colonies under a long-term lease. The first French co-living operator with 180 apartments and houses will offer 200 housing units.
