King & Wood Mallesons’ London-based dispute resolution team is strengthening its dispute resolution practice with the promotion of Wilson Antoon to Of Counsel, with effect from 17 September 2018.
Wilson is a commercial litigation and international arbitration specialist with over 10 years’ experience representing financial institutions, governments, publicly listed companies and high net worth individuals. He has acted as advisor and advocate in complex, high value disputes. Most recently Wilson, with Andrei Yakovlev, led the team advising the Kyrgyz Republic in its suite of investor-state disputes, including successfully overturning an UNCITRAL award in the Paris Court of Appeal on public policy grounds. Wilson joined KWM in Sydney in 2008 and relocated to London’s disputes team in 2014. He is admitted to practice in England and Wales and Australia.
