Corrs Chambers Westgarth has today announced that leading tax practitioner Cameron Blackwood will join the firm as a partner, based in Sydney.
Cameron will bring extensive transactional tax expertise, with nearly two decades of experience working as a trusted adviser for a number of leading ASX-listed and international corporates.
Cameron specialises in advising clients on the tax complexities related to mergers, acquisitions and restructures, debt and equity capital management, cross-border issues, and all aspects of employee share schemes for both public and private groups.
Corrs CEO Gavin MacLaren said: “Cameron is highly regarded in the market for his analytical, methodical and commercial approach. He will be a strong addition to our transactional teams and will add further depth to our tax offering. We are delighted that he will be joining the Corrs partnership.”
Cameron previously spent 18 years at the specialist tax firm Greenwoods & Herbert Smith Freehills and joined PwC in June 2022 following its acquisition of Greenwoods.
