Leading law firm Lester Aldridge is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of its Bournemouth office on 1st October.
Lester Aldridge was born out of a merger of two Bournemouth firms, Mooring Aldridge and Haydon with Lester and Russell, in 1988, although origins can be traced back much further, to 1796.
Over the past 30 years Lester Aldridge has grown to be the largest law firm in Dorset, employing over 300 staff, and has built a national reputation in many service areas. The firm’s core practice areas are real estate, banking & finance, dispute resolution, corporate & commercial services and private client, and within these, specialist niche practices such as healthcare, marine, agriculture, charities & social enterprise, debt recovery and a range of international estate services.
International reach has steadily grown – in 2017 alone, the firm worked with clients in 44 countries. In 2001 the firm opened a Southampton office with a marine and commercial property emphasis. Marine became a leading area of sector expertise and commercial property remains to this day one of the firm’s busiest service areas. In 2004 the firm opened a London office following a merger with Park Nelson.
Matthew Barrow, Managing Partner at Lester Aldridge, comments: “Our anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on the tradition of excellence established by the founding partners, and to affirm our continued commitment to providing quality legal services to our clients. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, we would like to thank them all for their continued support over the years and look forward to many more years of partnership with them.”
