Paola Gachet graduated as lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, heads the Ecuador Chapter of the International Fiscal Association, is founder and participates in the direction of the Ecuador Chapter of “Woman in the Profession” and is a member of the tax and public contracts committees of the ICC Ecuador.
Prior to joining the Firm, Paola Gachet worked as a partner at Robalino and Ferrere Abogados.
Her trajectory has been recognized by important international guides such as: Chambers and Partners Latin America, The Legal500, Word Tax - International Tax Review, Who's Who Legal, among others.
In the academic field, Paola has been a speaker at important national and international conferences. Among her most important publications are: "Los contribuyentes en tiempos post COVID", National Court of Justice, 2020; "Reflexiones sobre la implementación del IVA en los servicios digitales. Pertinencia, operatividad de pagos y generalidad", Instituto Ecuatoriano de Derecho Tributario with the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, 2020; "Negocios globales y la atribución de beneficios. Los retos de la justicia", International Seminar on Tax Justice organized by the Quito District Court for Contentious-Tax Matters, the Judiciary Council and the Judicial Service College, 2019.
