Ninth Judicial Circuit Honors Emery H. Rosenbluth Jr. with Inaugural Pro Bono Award

Rosenbluth joined Broad and Cassel two years ago, bringing with him nearly five decades of litigation experience to the Orlando office as of counsel in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Specifically, his broad litigation and mediation experience has concentrated on complex commercial disputes in areas such as contracts; construction/development; corporation, shareholder and partnership disputes; commercial torts; real estate and land use; banking; foreclosures; and employment.

Last year, Rosenbluth was honored by the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) for his service to the profession and enthusiasm for practicing with uncompromising ethical standards, still, almost fifty years after his admission to practice in Florida. The OCBA awarded him with the 2016 William B. Trickel, Jr. Professionalism Award, representing the best in practice, service, professionalism, ethical conduct, demeanor and high moral standards in the legal community.

Rosenbluth holds a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Penn., and received his juris doctor from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He also is a certified civil circuit court mediator for the Florida Supreme Court; a certified mediator for the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida; a certified mediator for the Florida Fifth District Court of Appeal; a qualified Florida arbitrator; and a past president for the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc.  Rosenbluth has been active in various community organizations over the years and holds several accolades, having been recognized by his peers for his work on various accounts, now adding the Pro Bono Merit Award to his long list of achievements.
