ACCRALAW Senior Partner Oliver L. Pantaleon has been awarded Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific 2024 Lawyer of the Year for the Philippines.
Prior to this recent announcement, Mr. Pantaleon was also ranked as a Litigation Star for 2024 by the same publication in the practice areas of Commercial and Transactions and Tax.
Mr. Pantaleon specializes in commercial and tax litigation. Among his representative cases include regulatory disputes for power, water, and telecommunications companies and cross-border rehabilitation cases. He also represents companies that challenge the tax assessments issued by the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
Mr. Pantaleon is also the Head of ACCRALAW’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific’s awards were arrived at “after an exhaustive research process that analysed the most complex and innovative cases from across the region”. The editorial team of this publication also looked into lawyers and cases that “had wide social impacts and assisted in shaping jurisprudence”.
