The law firm Perez Correa Gonzalez represented Swvl, a global provider of technology-enabled solutions for private transportation, in its expansion in our country, who announced a definitive agreement through which they acquired Urbvan.
Urbvan is a mobility platform with a presence in Latin America, providing technology-enabled transportation services focused on offering affordable, efficient, safe and harassment-free private transportation methods that improve the quality and safety standards of travel in different geographic areas throughout the region.
Swvl's acquisition of Urbvan seeks to consolidate the technology-enabled private transportation sector in large geographic areas of Latin America. The transaction closed on July 11 of this year.
