Santamarina y Steta advises IIC as selling shareholder in Vinte’s initial public offering of 46.4 million shares
Mexico City, Mexico, October 4th, 2016. The Mexican law firm Santamarina y Steta advised IIC as selling shareholder in Vinte’s, in its initial public offering of 46.4 million shares.
With this operation, Mexican homebuilder Vinte raised 1.2 billion pesos ($61.65 million) in an initial public offering. Vinte offered 46.4 million shares, including the overallotment option, according to a filing with the Mexican stock exchange late on Wednesday. The shares were priced at 26.32 pesos. Citi, UBS and Actinver underwrote the offering.
Vinte has more than 11 years of experience in the Mexican homebuilder market where more than 20 thousand families live in Vinte Community.
Partner Alberto Saavedra, whose practice is focused on the general corporate area including securities and capital markets as well as foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions and project finance led the efforts regarding the case with the support of Alfonso Monroy whose practice is also focused on general corporate and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities and capital markets.
