Sayenko Kharenko has acted as legal counsel to AIR Media-Tech (“AIR”) with respect to the acquisition of the entire shareholding in Scalelab. The transaction is a part of AIR’s strategy of creating the largest creators ecosystem globally. It is expected that the deal will create synergy of two strong social media players in the creator economy market and give new opportunities for creators partnering with them.
Sayenko Kharenko’s team provided comprehensive buy-side legal support, including performing limited due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and advising on complex corporate and IP matters.
AIR is one of the largest certified YouTube global partners working with creators and influencers from 44 countries globally. The AIR’s portfolio of 3,000+ YouTube channels generates over 20 billion views monthly. The company has 250 employees and offices in Ukraine, Canada, UAE, and the EU.
ScaleLab is an LA-based media network. It represents 1,000+ YouTube creators, with a subscriber base of over 400 million. Altogether they generate 4 billion video views per month. ScaleLab was included in the list of 50 out of 5,000 most growing media companies, according to Inc. Magazine.
