Bomchil has advised Compañía General de Combustibles S.A. and Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi acted as counsel to the book-running managers and placement agents and to the placement agents on the recent issuance of the company’s (i) 0% Notes Series 26 due in June 2025 (Obligaciones Negociables Clase 26) for an amount of US$63,136,266 denominated in U.S. Dollars and payable in Argentine Pesos at the prevailing exchange rate; and (ii) 3.50% Notes Series 27 due in June 2029 (Obligaciones Negociables Clase 27) for an amount of US$76,863,734, denominated and payable in U.S Dollars at the prevailing exchange rate.
The issuance date took place on June 7, 2022, under the company’s Frequent Issuer Program. The proceeds from the issuance of the Notes Series 26 will be used for working capital, investments and general corporate uses, while the proceeds from the issuance of the Notes Series 27 will be used for the financing of a mid and long-term productive project in “Austral and Golfo, San Jorge basins” located in the Province of Santa Cruz, under its investment program to develop natural gas reserves during the 2022/2023 period.
