Suciu Popa assisted Central Bottling Company Ltd. (one of the largest international bottling companies with bottling licence for international well-known alcoholic and non-alcoholic brands) in acquiring the sole control of Muller Romania (the Romanian subsidiary and licensee of Molkerei Alois Müller GmbH & Co. KG, one of the major multinational producers of dairy products).
Suciu Popa advised on all the matters related to the review and negotiations of the new license agreement, to the economic concentration, including its notification to the Romanian Competition Council.
Andrei Georgescu coordinated the project, with the help of Vlad Lupascu, Mihai Caragui and Siranus Hahamian, the team being supervised by Managing Partner Miruna Suciu.
Previously, Suciu Popa has been advising the Central Bottling Company Ltd in acquiring the sole control of the Romanian licensee of Carlsberg, United Romania Breweries Bereprod (URBB) and Carlsrom Beverage.
“Our mandate in this transaction came as a result of our excellent previous cooperation with CBC in their Romanian projects, and we are very happy to be able to support our clients in their acquisitions or expansion projects, while recognizing and being able to deal with the challenges they are faced within their relevant business sectors”, said Miruna Suciu.
said Tzafrir Granat, CEO Muller Dairy Romania.
