Shopping centres are receiving sale prices which exceed market expectations and there’s been a stirring in leading investors such as Radical Holdings and Landsec who are looking to cash in on the promising sector. 

Hines are looking to resurface into the retail sector with investment after a seven-year hiatus in the retail market. Their return points towards retail being firmly back on track for a positive trajectory. 

Industry leaders at the Bisnow Driving Footfall: Retail and Mixed-Use Real Estate event, moderated by Charles Elgood from Maples Teesdale, were positive that the retail sector was showing great signs of growth and rejuvenation. With the right players re-emerging into the fray, others are likely to follow in their footsteps.
