Thomson Geer has advised German-based radio communications firm Rohde & Schwarz on its successful negotiations to provide communications systems to BAE Systems Maritime Australia and its Hunter Class frigate program. Rohde & Schwarz will provide the software and hardware for all internal and external communications in the ships. Thomson Geer assisted and supported negotiations on the contract to supply the systems, drafted contracts, advised on local laws, and negotiated with the Commonwealth on IP rights.
