Thomson Geer has advised Canadian-based mineral exploration company Resouro Strategic Metals Inc on its successful initial public offering (IPO) on the Australian Securities Exchange raising A$8 million and achieving a market capitalisation of approximately A$61 million on the day of listing.

Resouro is focused on the discovery and development of critical mineral resources in Brazil through its Tiros Project, a rare earth elements and titanium project. Rare earths are essential to the ongoing electrification and decarbonisation of the global economy.

The company is also listed on Canada's TSX-V exchange. The dual listing on the ASX provides Resouro greater exposure to investors.

Thomson Geer's equity capital markets expertise, together with its strong working relationships with key Australian regulators, was critical to Resouro's success in achieving a dual listing on ASX.

The Thomson Geer team was led by Partner Marc Wilshaw who said: 'We congratulate Resouro Strategic Metals Inc. on its successful IPO and debut on the ASX. We wish them every success with their future exploration endeavours and look forward to continuing to work with the Resouro team post-listing as they continue to develop the Tiros Project and establish themselves as a significant player in the rare earths industry."
