Tobar ZVS Announces Promotion of Andrés Paz y Miño Borja to Director of Energy Practice
Quito, 30/01/2024 — Tobar ZVS is delighted to announce the promotion of Andrés Paz y Miño Borja to the role of Director of the Energy Practice.
Andrés Paz y Miño is the new Director of the Energy practice at Tobar ZVS, with 10 years of experience in specialized legal advisory services for mining, infrastructure, and energy.
He represents companies, investment funds, and lenders in a wide range of transactions, including commercial contracts, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, project development, project financing, and regulatory advice.
In addition, Andrés is Arbitration Secretary of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Quito Chamber of Commerce and of CIAM - International Arbitration and Mediation Center. Moreover, he holds the position of Secretary of the Board in one of the most significant economic groups in Ecuador.
He holds a law degree from Universidad de las Américas, a Master of Laws - LLM with specialization in International Commercial Law from King's College London and a Certificate in International Commercial Arbitration from Oxford University.
In his previous role, Andrés Paz y Miño demonstrated exceptional dedication and expertise in the field of Energy Law. His contributions have significantly contributed to the success of Tobar ZVS, making him a natural fit for this leadership position.
