Total joint the natural gas distribution sector in the Dominican Republic.
With the legal advice of Jiménez Cruz Peña, Total through its subsidiary V Energy, S.A., signed an agreement with Plater Dominicana S.A., for the acquisition of 70% of the shares of the natural gas distribution company, Plater Invesment, S.A.
Currently, Total Group is an important supplier of Natural Gas in the Dominican market, through a joint market agreement with AES Dominicana.

Plater Investment. S.A. (Platergas), is a company that distributes Liquid Natural Gas in the Dominican Republic, including the development of various energy related projects based on natural gas and other clean energy sources, operate and maintain all of our installations ourselves, as well as developing and installing our telecommunication system which keeps the whole system unified, bringing aggregated value to the energy chain.
V Energy S.A. It is the subsidiary of Total in the Dominican Republic, with presence in the country since 2016. It currently has a network of service stations with more than 120 stations distributed throughout the national territory. It has more than 1,300 employees.
TOTAL, through V Energy, SA, hired firm Jiménez Cruz Peña, who assist them providing legal advice services in the structuring of the purchase transaction, the due diligence process, as well as the instrumentation and execution of implementation documents.
