Austrian law firm Weber & Co. acted as legal counsel to Wienerberger AG, a leading international supplier of building materials and infrastructure solutions, in connection with the issue of EUR 400 million corporate bonds , which were successfully placed by BNP Paribas, RBI and UniCredit.

The issue of the EUR 400,000,000 2.750% Bonds 2020-2025, ISIN AT0000A2GLA0, issued under Austrian law was effected with value date 4 June 2020. The bond with a denomination of EUR 100,000 per bond has a term of 5 years and an annual coupon of 2.750%. The proceeds from the bond issue will be used by Wienerberger AG for general corporate purposes. The listing of the bond on the Vienna Stock Exchange (Official Market) was completed on the basis of a prospectus approved by the Austrian Financial Market Authority.
The syndicate of banks for the issue consisted of BNP Paribas, Raiffeisen Bank International AG and UniCredit as Joint Bookrunners. Wolf Theiss Rechtsanwälte advised the Joint Bookrunners led by partner Alexander Haas.
Already in December 2018 and July 2019, OMV AG successfully issued multi-tranche bonds in a volume of EUR 1 bn each. Weber & Co. had advised as legal adviser to the issuer also on these transactions.
