Anderson Mori & Tomotsune has a long history of advising foreign and Japanese clients on international trade matters, including matters concerning investment and import/export regulations under the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Control Act in Japan and similar regulations in the U.S. and China, import and export control matters, trade remedy investigations and trade disputes, and supply chain-related matters.
In addition, we have been handling a number of cases related to investment and trade issues concerning the trade friction between the U.S. and China as well as on data and cybersecurity related matters. We have also been counselling our clients on many cases related to economic sanctions and transactions with Russian companies triggered by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. AMT also has a wealth of experience in handling trade remedy cases and regularly represents:
