About
Provided by Appleby
- Appleby Isle of Man’s Dispute Resolution group is recognised as a leader in its field. The firm is the largest on the island and undertakes a broader range of work than many local competitors. Particular specialisms include fraud and asset tracing, insolvency and restructuring, fund disputes and insured defence work (both personal injury and professional negligence).
- We continue to maintain our position on various offshore legal panels for many of the UK’s leading banks and a number of the island’s Life Insurers. We also have close relationships with a number of local trust and corporate service providers.
- We continue to take the lead in developing Manx law with a number of the ground breaking decisions, regularly drawing to the attention of the Isle of Man Court decisions of the courts of the other jurisdictions in which we practice around the world.
- The group works closely with the corporate and trust teams in the Isle of Man and across Appleby’s ten jurisdictions, differentiating us considerably from our local competitors.
