About
Provided by Appleby
- Appleby Isle of Man’s Corporate and Finance group continues to be involved in often high value, complex transactions taking place in all three of the Crown Dependencies. The Isle of Man office is the largest corporate practice in the jurisdiction, allowing us to provide expertise in a number of areas including commercial property, funds, insurance, shipping and aviation, mergers & acquisitions and banking work.
- The team includes specialist lawyers qualified to advise on the laws of the Isle of Man and British Virgin Islands who are able to advise on all aspects of corporate and commercial work in those jurisdictions and continue to act on almost all major corporate deals in the Isle of Man.
- Our group regularly undertakes cross-border corporate & commercial work involving Appleby offices in the ten jurisdictions in which we operate. Our clients appreciate our ability to provide one point of contact, which enables them to reduce their exposure and involvement to numerous offshore firms and, as such, reduce inconsistencies in the advice given and control their costs.
- At Appleby, our global presence allows us to provide timely and comprehensive legal advice at the time most critical to our clients. This includes providing British Virgin Islands (BVI) law advice in a European time zone such as advising on the laws, rules, regulations and practices which govern the BVI.
