Our Bangkok Aviation Practice brings together an experienced team of aviation practitioners and specific practice area lawyers in corporate and commercial, compliance, employment, intellectual property, litigation, restructuring and insolvency, and tax, who are able to take full account of local dynamics without losing sight of the international dimension. We regularly represent arrangers, lessors, lessees, lenders, major airlines, debt providers and investors, government entities, educational institutions, and other participants in a broad range of aviation transactions across a multitude of sectors and often in multiple jurisdictions. Our services include aircraft/engine/equipment finance and leasing; ECA financing; aircraft sales/purchases; acquisition and disposal; tax-based and non-tax-based lease financings; aircraft modification; repair and maintenance; corporate and commercial contracts; maintenance contracts, regulatory advice; dispute resolution; restructuring; tax; aircraft loans, leases and leveraged lease restructurings and workouts; and managing issues with aircraft mechanics liens. We are supported by our aviation teams in Hong Kong and the PRC, should English or PRC law be required. Our expertise also includes negotiations and drafting agreements; preparation of legal opinions; certificates and documents for registration and operation of aircraft from the CAAT; acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs or internal restructuring; and post-transaction integration.
