Our Bangkok EMI Projects Practice focuses on domestic and international development and finance as well as M&A in the Energy, Mining, & Infrastructure (EMI) sectors, including power, renewable energy, hydropower, O&G, petrochemicals, road and rail, seaports, airports, and water and wastewater. We have established long-term relationships with key local players, representing Thailand's largest industry clients on their most complex domestic and cross-border matters as well as foreign investors and overseas private funds seeking to invest in Thailand. Comprehensive services covering all aspects of project development; project finance; sustainable finance and energy transition; acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances; project contracts and agreements; and environmental, regulatory and enforcement issues. Unique among law firms in Thailand, our lawyers have expertise in both project development and project finance and regularly represent both sponsors and lenders in project financing transactions. We are one of the very few firms in Thailand that have Thai lawyers substantially involved in the drafting and negotiation of EPC contracts. Our expertise in PPP projects began in the 1980s when private sector was first allowed to participate in infrastructure projects, culminating in several first-of-its-kind projects. We are also one of the very few law firms with a dispute resolution team with experience in litigating concession contracts on any administrative law issues.
