In the current reporting period, one of the practice's main areas of activity is again advising telecommunications companies and companies from other sectors that provide communication elements as part of their services on regulatory and contractual law in national and global matters and representing them before national, European and international authorities and institutions. We are part of Baker McKenzie's global and European IT/C practice. Caroline Heinickel plays a leading role in the firm's "Communications & Mobility" working group, which steers the strategic direction of Baker McKenzie's global IT/C practice, in particular in the area of new and disruptive technologies, especially in the telecommunications sector (current topics include machine-to-machine communication and autonomous driving).
