Our Corporate team strongly seeks a business-oriented approach and we support our clients providing more than a pure and simple legal advice, by understanding the economic aspects of the transactions in which we advise and the business of the client. We are proud to say that we make things possible when other firms cannot.
The team has experience in handling the widest range of transactions, from start-ups to the largest and most complex deals, whether cross-border or domestic. Its main areas of expertise are mergers & acquisitions, spin-offs, joint ventures, corporate and debt restructurings and general corporate advice. The department is highly focused on sectors, especially on food & beverage, technology, life sciences and pharma. Our clients range from multinationals to SME’s and entrepreneurs.
The peculiarity of this year was our intense activity on very complex M&A deals successfully requiring the coordination of, among others, IP and regulatory technical experts and the coordination of legal teams from multiple foreign jurisdictions involving Bird & Bird´s extensive network of own offices and best friends firms.
Our most salient feature has been and will continue to be, our ability to "make things happen" for the client due to the combination of intense technical knowledge and profound expertise of both M&A matters and the relevant underlying sectors that have enabled us to provide the clients with creative and effective solutions.
