The firm was co-founded in 2017 by partners Diego Cillóniz and Fernando Valencia after both having worked for over 10 years at two of the top tier Peruvian firms: Miranda & Amado Abogados and Estudio Grau Abogados (now CMS Grau) in the areas of Natural Resources. Both lawyers brought to the new firm a combined experience as in-house lawyers and as external counsels at top legal firms.
