Real Estate, Projects and Construction
This is split into the below sub teams:
Real estate - The London real estate team advise a diverse client base of UK and offshore clients on complex, high value and time critical investment transactions.
Projects and Construction – The P&C team deals with a broad range of projects across four key sectors: (i) transport; (ii) infrastructure; (iii) energy and natural resources; and (iv) commercial development.
Property and Litigation - The property litigation team work on contested lease renewals, lease forfeiture proceedings, claims for possession and arrears, serving schedules of dilapidations, statutory demands for payment, boundary disputes, coverage disputes and niche property disputes.
Banking and Finance - The department generally (but not exclusively) works for borrowers in real estate finance transactions including refinancing existing debt, acquiring property or for use in development funds.
Planning - The planning department has a significant breadth of work stretching from advising homeowners on extensions to significant and highly contentious projects in the green belt across both contention and transactional practices.
Insolvency - The insolvency team mainly act for insolvency practitioners, such as trustees in bankruptcy, liquidators and administrators, in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Clyde & Co has a comprehensive practice offering assistance with a range of property transactions, from investment and asset management to development schemes. It also advises corporate occupiers on significant leasing transactions and has a notable client list consisting of national and international companies. The group is active on matters concerning residential property, including the private rental sector, and has further experience in advising local authorities and other public sector clients.
