Cozen O’Connor’s Bankruptcy, Insolvency & Restructuring Practice represents clients in a broad range of commercial litigation and transactional matters. Our attorneys have a particular focus on domestic and international insolvency, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, out-of-court restructurings, and reorganization. Recognizing that the adversarial and competitive business environment requires increasingly creative strategies to avert serious financial difficulties, members of Cozen O’Connor’s Bankruptcy, Insolvency & Restructuring Practice are also often called upon to act as key advisors in the structuring of business and real estate transactions.
Our practice is dedicated to helping guide and advance the bankruptcy sector. We actively serve in leadership roles in the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and the National Association of Federal Equity Receivers. Members of our group have previously served as president of both organizations. Mark E. Felger, co-chair of the Bankruptcy, Insolvency & Restructuring Practice, is a co-author and editor of the ABI’s Representing the Creditors’ Committee: A Guide for Practitioners and recently served as the co-chair of the Unsecured Trade Creditors’ Committee. In addition, he is the immediate past president and chairman of the board for the Philadelphia/Wilmington Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. Mark also serves on the Delaware Bankruptcy Court’s Local Rules Committee and the Board of the American Board Certification.
