·           litigating in cross-border issues

·           designing and implementing strategies for both national and complex multi-jurisdictional IP disputes

·           counselling on all aspects of IP, including validity, enforcement, freedom-to-operate and infringement issues

·           structuring, negotiating and implementing IP transactions, including licensing and R&D agreements

·           advising on IP portfolio management procedures and designing proprietary information protection programs

·           offering training on IP protection, assisting clients in establishing internal policing and enforcement policies, and conducting IP due diligence studies.

We pride ourselves on our hands on, creative approach to problem solving. Our team represents clients before the Belgian courts, the European Intellectual Property Office, the Benelux Intellectual Property Office and the European Court of Justice.

In jurisdictions where we cannot personally represent our clients, we rely on an international network of handpicked local counsel, with our own lawyers often remaining involved, for example in the role of cross-border coordinator or co-counsel/trusted advisor to the client.
