About

Provided by Dentons

The Employment team has grown significantly over the past couple of years. It recently hired Purvis Ghani from Stephenson Harwood and this brings the total number of employment partners in London to 4 (a total of 7 employment partners in the wider UK employment team).  The total number of employment fee earners has increased from 14 in 2016 to 48 in 2019. This makes the Dentons team one of the larger employment practices amongst the firms in the existing top four bands of Chambers.

The team have market leading expertise in cross border international employment matters and regularly work on employment projects involving over 40 countries. Many of the multinational clients instruct the team to utilise its global employment expertise (which spans across its offices in over 78 countries).  This level of international employment expertise, combined with our UK coverage, is unrivalled amongst any of the other employment practices in London.

The team operates as part of one UK team across all of its locations – this is in contrast to many other UK firms who might otherwise have separate employment teams and business units in different locations.  Partners in the London team regularly work with associates in Milton Keynes and Scotland to deliver clients a more cost effective service.

The team offers a Legal Project Management team (non-lawyers) to clients such as Centrebridge Partners and Astro Acquisitions to enable them to cost effectively manage large projects and litigation.
