Restructuring and Insolvency practice requires a strong advisory team with equally strong litigation team as the insolvency resolution process is under the aegis of the National Company Law Tribunal. The advisory team is engaged in providing strategy level advice in connection with the options available to the various stakeholders (creditors/ debtors/ shareholders/ promoters) in connection with any default situation. The team has vast experience on dealing with the rectification of the account of the corporate debtor vide contractual arrangement, restructuring of the corporate debtor (vide the formal route i.e. the court process and the informal route i.e. contractual framework), recovery and enforcement of the security for the benefit of the secured creditor, insolvency resolution process and liquidation of the corporate debtor.

The advisory and the litigation team work in close coordination to achieve the objectives of the stakeholder. The advisory team is involved in drawing up a roadmap arising out of the default situation for relevant stakeholders and the litigation team steps into the matter in connection with enforcing the strategy in court, judicial tribunal and arbitral tribunal.
