EY Law - New Technology Practice

The EY Law New Technology Desk established itself as Austria's leading force for legal and regulatory advice for FinTechs. The team has quickly become the number one address for national and international FinTechs and crypto service providers. The department lead, Martin Hanzl, holds lectures at renowned US universities, such as Harvard Law School and Rutgers, speaking about EU’s upcoming crypto regulation, MiCAR, and led EU projects on Blockchain and Smart Contracts (e.g. by the European Law Institute with the EU commission). To accommodate for the industries fast-paced development, EY Law's New Technology team focuses on innovate and solution-driven legal advice.
