Gedik & Eraksoy’s Banking & Finance and capital markets team is led by Umut Gurgey and includes 11 other dedicated fee-earners. The team works on a standalone basis on Turkish law matters, and exclusively in conjunction with Allen & Overy’s Istanbul team. Gedik & Eraksoy and Allen & Overy have worked in association since 2012. The team also assists with debt refinancings. It advises international and domestic financial institutions as arrangers, issuers and underwriters on a range of equity and debt capital markets. The law firm handles initial public offerings for domestic and international corporate clients, with further experience in handling Eurobonds, GMTN programmes and regulatory issues.
