We provide a full range of banking and finance advice which includes transactional/consensual debt reschedulings and restructurings, contentious insolvency, employment law advice on particular regulated appointments of senior executives in banks, banking class actions and derivative actions, and regulatory advice.
In recent years, our bank finance team has seen an exponential increase in the number and size of lender-side mandates on which it has been called to advise the leading domestic and global players in our market, due to an increase in new clients. We are currently handling a large portion of the most complex lending activities of Israel’s largest bank. We also represent three out of Israel's five largest banks as well as all three control holders of the only large banks in Israel with controlling shareholders.
We have played a lead role for both lenders and borrowers in some of the highest profile loans in the Israeli market. Our banking and finance team represented both lenders and borrowers in over 45 cases and different regulatory issues, worth over NIS 7 billion (USD 2 billion). This includes some of Israel’s largest real estate financings, several 'firsts' for alternative lenders, advice to foreign lenders lending into Israel and an increasing amount of Israeli corporates borrowing abroad, primarily in Europe, and entering into complex instruments and credit products under English law.
